This August, we're bringing a little Palm Springs energy to Texas for the very first Mähj Subscriber Retreat—and you're invited.
August 7–9, 2026
The Interstate Inn | Stephenville, Texas
Tucked away in the heart of Texas, this beautifully restored property is a 33-room boutique hotel whose retro-luxe vibe would feel right at home in a Slim Aarons photo. With its vintage charm, vibrant design, and relaxed resort atmosphere, it's the perfect setting for a weekend dedicated to sunshine, connection, and, of course, mahjong.
Whether you're coming with your favorite foursome or traveling solo, you'll find yourself among friends who share your love of the game and the community that surrounds it.
This retreat is exclusively for Mähj subscribers.

3:00pm: Hotel check-in
5:00pm – 6:30: Welcome reception + owners Lisa Lennox and Andrea share the Interstate Inn story

Saturday, August 8
8:00am or 9:00am: Sound bath meditation in the courtyard (optional)
9:30am – 11:30am: Open play in the pool or Cork Room
12:00pm – 1:30pm: Lunch at the Seeker
2:00pm – 4:30pm: The Mähj High Roller Showdown
